1. Misstar Cafe by Davikah

This café in Bangkok was opened by Davikah, one of the top beauties in the Land of Smiles. If you’ve just arrived and don’t know what to do in Bangkok, head here. Davikah shared that she nurtured this project, taking a year to build and complete Misstar Cafe.

Misstar Cafe is quite far from the city center due to its spacious area. The café resembles a glass castle surrounded by a vast green garden. It’s undeniable that most of the space here is the lush outdoor area, giving you a feeling that you’re not in Bangkok anymore, away from its hustle, bustle, and smoky atmosphere.

This is what makes Misstar Cafe extremely special. The outside garden area follows a distinctive English style with a fountain and angel statues, enveloped in refreshing greenery of flowers and leaves, making you feel like you’ve stepped into Wonderland.

Although the route might be a bit remote, for those already too accustomed to Bangkok’s noise and congestion, a visit to Misstar Cafe offers relaxation and a basket full of photo opportunities due to its spacious area. If you get a chance to visit Thailand, don’t miss out on this beautiful café.

Moreover, Organika House has a pleasant lingering fragrance. This cafe indeed ticks all the boxes: clean, white, fragrant. What could be more ideal than not having to think too much about what to do in Bangkok and simply relaxing with an afternoon tea at Organika House?

Little-known fact: Organika is one of Thailand’s most reputable home spa brands with a range of perfume products, soaps, and essential oils. These products are displayed at Organika House, allowing you to sample and purchase your preferred fragrance.

With an all-pink space, from peach-colored sofas to interior furnishings and decorations, House Of Eden is adorable, feminine, yet equally elegant. Especially, this place is a paradise for groups of friends unsure about what to do in Bangkok.

Not only does it feature a dazzling space, but the food here, especially the desserts, always receive high praise. From dark chocolate cake to lemon tart, it would be a miss if you don’t try a rose milkshake and Thai tea creme brulee at House Of Eden.

A Thai friend introduced me to Red Diamond Cafe with praises like “one of the best coffee shops tried in Bangkok” and “a must-visit cafe in Bangkok.” Curious, I sought out Red Diamond Cafe in Central World right after the recommendation.

The café is small, like a coffee counter amidst Central World, with a dark wooden tone. Indeed, there’s a wide variety of coffee here, and the staff are very knowledgeable about coffee, so you can ask for their recommendations when ordering, or chat with them about coffee.

It’s an exciting experience for coffee enthusiasts on the quest for what to do in Bangkok to try a standard, delicious cup of coffee in the Land of Smiles. Most who’ve been here agree that Red Diamond Cafe serves excellent coffee and leaves a lasting impression.

Red Diamond Cafe has three locations. One is in Lat Phrao, quite spacious but far from the city center. A closer branch of Red Diamond Cafe is on the 5th floor of the Central World shopping center, a bit hard to find, so it’s worth asking at the information desk. And the good news is that Red Diamond Cafe has just opened a new, super glamorous location at the new IconSiam shopping center.

Let me introduce you to a completely new café in Bangkok that opened at the end of 2018, and that is Modernism Cafe. The name reflects its style; the architecture of Modernism Cafe is indeed modern and minimalistic.

The café uses only gray and black tones, but elegantly and stylishly. Even before anything, Modernism Cafe became an endless spot for photo shoots in all suggestions for what to do in Bangkok. Perhaps due to its modern, straightforward style, Modernism Cafe is stunning from every angle, almost resembling an art center.

Besides carefully curated coffee, the other drinks here are visually appealing as well. If you’re in Thailand during this time, don’t miss a chic place like Modernism Cafe.

6. The Never Ending Summer

The Never Ending Summer seems like quite a romantic and unusual name. What I love most about The Never Ending Summer is its incredibly atmospheric space, a bit dusty but still elegant. Imagine this: The Never Ending Summer is like an abandoned warehouse transformed into a warm space with greenery, exquisite tables, and chairs.

It’s indeed an incredibly ideal place for dining or dates. If you’re tired of searching for what to do in Bangkok and just want to find a place to relax, enjoy traditional Thai dishes combined with coffee or tea, head to The Never Ending Summer.

The Never Ending Summer is my favorite brunch spot with friends whenever we’re in Bangkok. The spacious, extremely comfortable space and fantastic food quickly recharge our energy. Once satisfied, we’ll look for what else to do in Bangkok!

After feeling full, we often linger with a cup of coffee just to enjoy the slow pace of life in Bangkok. The Never Ending Summer serves Thai cuisine’s specialties like green curry, beef curry, pad Thai, and even dishes that combine Thai and European cuisines.

The café’s name sounds familiar, doesn’t it? If you’re still in doubt, yes, it’s a Vietnamese name, and the café was opened by Vietnamese immigrants in Thailand. Looking from the outside, Ha Tien Cafe has a classic, mysterious dark tone.

Whenever I’m stuck with ideas for what to do in Bangkok, why not come here? Ha Tien Cafe has a kind of old-fashioned space filled with many collectibles gathered by the café’s owner, with a blend of classic, alluring yet luxurious tones.

Ha Tien Cafe has three floors: a drink bar on the ground floor, the second floor with deep green tones, emphasizing the café’s classic but peculiar charm. It’s an excellent spot for taking fantastic Instagram shots. Additionally, the top floor, in all its white glory, has dreamy murals and a rooftop area, ideal for chilling.

Even before stepping into the café, you’ll immediately notice its incredibly picturesque exterior. It’s also a divine check-in corner for many Thai celebrities. When you visit Ha Tien Cafe, don’t miss out on the coffee served here and the delicious pastries.

8. Unicorn Cafe

Visiting Unicorn Cafe guarantees you’ll have beautiful photos in this magical space full of colors. Moreover, the food here is not only delicious but also visually stunning. The most loved items at Unicorn Cafe include rainbow crepe cake, toast, waffles, and even a unicorn burger. Isn’t that amazing?
